Aperol Spritz

The spritz.  A widely known cocktail in Italia comprising of an orange based bitter italian liquor, seltzer and Prosecco, garnished with castelvetrano olives (fresh green olives) is one of my favorite cocktails originating outside of the US.  This refreshingly bitter drink can be found anywhere in Italy and can vary from sweet to bitter (depending on the Prosecco and bitters used).  I came across it at a small delicatessen shop in Venice that housed various smoked meats and cheeses served on freshly baked bread.  Also note that, it makes a great accompaniment to a day at the pool or beach.  Cheers!

  1. Howdy would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using?
I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a tough
time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.

The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!

    1. Kazuko- We run on the wordpress.org platform. The theme itself is a mix of a few that I liked with different elements blended together. Let me know if you want any more detail (kyle@trekbytheglass.com) and I will be happy to help you out.

Otherwise thanks for checking out the site and visit us again. Give me a shout when you get your blog started!
