Gin-Gin Mule

Ginger Gin Mule

A great summer drink, the Gin-Gin mule is a refreshing variation on the classic Moscow mule.  This version makes the addition of mint to make this drink even more invigorating with a nice cool finish.  Another way that this could be also made great would be to swap out the gin with bourbon and make it a bit of a crossover between a julep and a mule, a classic mashup.  Depending on the ginger beer you use in this you could vary the spice level of the drink, I personally tend to add a bit of my homemade ginger tincture just to get a bit more kick out of this one.

Gin-Gin Mule

2 oz Gin
3 oz Ginger Beer
10 or so Mint leaves
1 oz Lime juice
1 dash of agave nectar
Muddle the mint leaves well with the lime juice and agave, shake with the gin, then double strain into a glass with ice.  Top with ginger beer and you have your Gin-Gin mule ready for a nice summer day!
